Origin

Cross between Koroneiki × Arbosana. Developed at the University of Bari (Italy).

Tree

Medium to low vigor, good branching, adapts well to irrigated areas

Fruit

High oil yield, rich in polyphenols, produces superior quality oil.

Maturation

Early – optimal harvest: first ten days of November.

Taste

Fruity olive oil, with marked bitterness and spiciness, long shelf life.

Overall evaluation

Excellent variety for intensive systems (4×2) as well as extensive ones (4×4), with high and consistent productivity and superior oil quality.
