SPECIES: LINDEN TREE
Long-living tree with a height of 30 m and a crown diameter of 20 m. It creates a deep shade. The tree forms a strong trunk with a characteristic, smooth, silver-gray bark. Its flowers are small, white-yellow in color and particularly fragrant due to the essential oil they contain. The tree requires moist, drained, neutral or alkaline, deep and humus-rich soils and partially shaded places protected from strong frosts. It is found for beautification in parks, squares, sidewalks and gardens. It is also useful in medicine, as its leaves, flowers, fruits and bark have medicinal properties.
