The fruit of Gala Dark Ann is dark red with even darker red stripes in the shape of fire. In northern countries with altitude above 400m, the dark stripes are even more visible. Compared to other Gala mutations, the Gala Dark Ann has a more intense redMaturation
It is ready to be harvested earlier than other Gala varieties- DARK ANN® colours very early an can therefore be harvested when it is perfectly mature.
- DARK ANN® is characterised by an attractive and intense, non-uniform dark red skin colour.
- The DARK ANN® mutant is virus-free. The protection of property rights has been applied for at the European Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO).
